Dubai beach hotels recorded 97 percent occupancy during the second week of August, the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) said on Wednesday.
The DTCM said five-star city hotels had 76 percent occupancy during the period, while four-star hotels had 81 percent occupancy.
Dubai currently has 58,147 hotel rooms (40,943 hotel rooms and 17,204 hotel apartment rooms), up 17 percent compared with a year ago.
The figures are significantly higher than the latest figures recorded by market analysts.
Hospitality research firm STR Global said Dubai's occupancy fell 14.7 percent to an average of 64.6 percent in June as fewer people travelled to the business and leisure hub.
